This writer is a complete and utter lush for a pop singer who has a voice that melts her heart. I had the privilege to get a sneak peek listen to Steven Romero’s new single Bad Idea and at about 0:38 into the song, I was left momentarily breathless. A beautifully simple song about love and how damn good those bad ideas at the beginning of a relationship can feel. Steven has this innocence to him that blends perfectly with his sweet, soulful voice. He has plenty of experience collaborating with some of the top songwriters of our time. You can tell that he has taken everything he has learned over the years and perfected his sound. This is a fantastic song to launch his solo career.

Steven tells his coming-of-age experiences of first loves and reckless youth through music to bring the sweet nostalgia of teenage memories to life.

This single will rock the world on March 2nd, 2018. Trust me when I say this, you will be hearing the name Steven Romero for the foreseeable future.

Ready for 2018✨

Extended Plays is an ongoing music series of all the music that I stumble upon. I listen to the music, go with my gut and spill my honest and sometimes brutal opinion all over this blog. I hope you take the time to check out the artists I review for yourselves. I tend to believe that I am always right about everything but the most beautiful thing about music is that my opinion doesn’t matter to anyone but myself.
