harry-2You might remember this band from a review I posted a little over a year ago. This band stayed with me over the months. Their first album You Said remains in my playlist to this day. It is always nice to find a new band to add to my eclectic collection of ear candy. When I heard that they not only had a new album out, but that they actually started writing it before You Said was even released, I couldn’t wait to check it out.

I played Come To The Edge from beginning to end…twice. Tumbler did not disappoint. You can tell that they have continued to perfect their craft. Their catchy songs lightly frosted with influences that stretch over generations are sure to put a smile on your face. Their songs have a sweet feel to them…the kind of music that you can’t help but tap your foot to or cruise around with the windows down on a summer day. I am not going to go into a full on rant as to why you should check these guys out again. I want to let the music speak for itself.

The most important music is the music you make for yourself.

Tumbler…please keep writing and we will keep listening.

You can check out how Tumbler came to be in their mini-doc.

Extended Plays is an ongoing music series written by myself and my partner James. We listen to music, go with our gut and spill our honest and sometimes brutal opinion all over this blog. We hope you take the time to check out the artists we review for yourselves. We tend to believe that we are always right about everything but the most beautiful thing about music is that our opinion doesn’t matter to anyone but ourselves.
