There are no rules when it comes to music. That is the beautiful part. You don’t need to conform anymore. You don’t need to fit into a neat little box. All that matter is that you write from a place that no one can touch. VAVO follows that path. They refuse to fall into a category. They write what feels good to them.

Their new single No Friend Zone is the perfect example. Create and let the song define itself. The struggle over creating relationships in a world where technology wedges right in the middle; this song is beyond relatable. The fast pace of this track fits perfectly with the anticipation and frustrations. A slight step in a different direction then their previous single but still has the power to stand on its own. It’s catchy and full of all the truths that anyone who is still working on connecting with the right person. This song has the attraction to connect with fans on so many different levels.

Extended Plays is an ongoing music series of all the music that I stumble upon. I listen to the music, go with my gut and spill my honest and sometimes brutal opinion all over this blog. I hope you take the time to check out the artists I review for yourselves. I tend to believe that I am always right about everything but the most beautiful thing about music is that my opinion doesn’t matter to anyone but myself.
