There is just something about reggae. When the rhythm slides through you ears your body just can’t help but move to the beat. It makes you crave the sun, the beach, a frozen concoction topped with all the fruit and a little umbrella. When music can take you some place like that, its hard to not feel the magic. Jerome Bell’s new single Burn Easy is no exception to this. His soft and sultry vocals pair perfectly with the Caribbean feel of the music. It’s a simple love song…filled with everything you would want to hear as you slowly groove to this song with that beauty by your side.

Love is a flame and we both burn easy.

Jerome is no stranger to the entertainment world. He was introduced into this world in Season 10 of American Idol when he made it to the top 40 of the popular American television show. Bell has preformed in front of hundreds of thousands of cruise lovers as “Seaweed J. Stubbs” in the Broadway hit musical Hairspray and at the 66th Annual Tony awards. This man is just full of talent and you can bet that he isn’t stopping anytime.

Check out his song below but don’t say I didn’t warn you. Your body may start swaying to the sound instantaneously.

Just in case you don’t remember this amazing audition, here is his first appearance on American Idol Season 10!

Extended Plays is an ongoing music series of all the music that I stumble upon. I listen to the music, go with my gut and spill my honest and sometimes brutal opinion all over this blog. I hope you take the time to check out the artists I review for yourselves. I tend to believe that I am always right about everything but the most beautiful thing about music is that my opinion doesn’t matter to anyone but myself.
